Our Meals

At Jack and Jill Kindergarten, we believe that nutritious, high-quality food plays a vital role in children’s growth, learning, and overall well-being. That’s why we are committed to providing freshly prepared, wholesome meals every day, ensuring that our children receive the best start to a lifetime of healthy eating habits.
Our seasonal menu is thoughtfully designed to be both delicious and nutritionally balanced, catering to the needs of growing bodies and developing minds. We proudly source our fresh produce from Persica Mosman, a trusted local greengrocer known for its high-quality fruits and vegetables. For all our butchered meats, we partner with Meat on the Avenue, ensuring that our children enjoy premium proteins.
Supporting local businesses is an important value at Jack and Jill. By choosing to work with trusted suppliers within our community, we not only guarantee the freshest ingredients for our meals but also contribute to the sustainability and vibrancy of the local economy. We believe that fostering strong connections with our community strengthens the sense of belonging and care that we extend to our families every day.
At mealtimes, our educators sit with the children, encouraging healthy eating habits, social interactions, and an appreciation for good food. We accommodate dietary requirements and allergies with thoughtful alternatives, ensuring that every child can enjoy a nourishing meal that meets their needs.

We work alongside 'Munch and Move'. The Munch & Move program aims to promote and encourage children's healthy eating, physical activity and reduce small screen recreation. Through Munch & Move NSW early childhood educators have the opportunity to attend a full day training program that assists them to implement a fun, play-based approach to support healthy eating and physical activity habits in young children. The Munch & Move training program fits within the new National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework. The program is a NSW Health initiative with support from the NSW Department of Human Services (Community Services) and the Local Health Districts.
